Partnering up with Josh Jackson, who is one of the designers really helped with getting our dream backyard together. He took our ideas and came up with a great 3d design. I recently had the pleasure of working with Bright Home landscapes and their incredibly talented landscape designer Josh and his amazing team. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Working with Bright Home Landscapes was a pleasure. In the past four years, they have completed two hardscaping projects for us: a paver pool deck and a new paver walkway and patio area. In both cases, their work was outstanding. From planning to execution, everything went smoothly and the final product exceeded expectations. Anastasia, the project manager for our latest project, is amazing: personable, professional, knowledgeable, quick to respond to every need, she offered excellent advice, answered questions quickly, and kept us informed about what to expect. Bright Home Landscapes was a wonderful group to work with. From start to finish they worked through our interests to covert our front yard to a more water wise environment versus the sod that required lots of water to stay green and beautiful. We were very excited to explore new ideas that were integrated into our wants list. The crew that made the plans a reality were great. Very professional and respectful. They worked very quickly on the front yard and on the areas that needed concrete for parking. The final look is great. All we need to do next is fill in some gaps with more succulents, but we will wait till the weather warms up. Bright Homes will work on phase 2, our backyard in a month or two. Before I first reached out to Brighthome earlier this year to potentially work with them on my from the ground up backyard, I was unsure if any landscapers would meet the design requirements I wanted. It was rare for me to see any designs in the greater sacramento region that really appealed to my more modern design needs. After browsing through Brighthome’s portfolio I felt that they would be the best for the job at hand. After our first meeting with Brianna who was our lead designer I felt 100% confident that they would be able to execute what we wanted! Brianna was so knowledgeable, professional, and with her design experience we were able to get our first mock-up done very quickly. The first design was already 90% of the way there with very little changes that were necessary. Throughout the process Brianna was so accommodating to our changes and back and forth design decision paralysis that she helped us through. After getting all our blueprints approved the wait time was only about a month before they broke ground. The contractors on site were all very pleasant and professional. Our foreman even offered to help us unload by hand when we ended up in a sticky situation with the delivery of our olive trees from an outside vendor. Have already recommended Brighthome to a few other people who were looking to do their backyards as well. Do yourself a favor and hire Brighthome and get your designs locked down in 3D. Your plans might changes once you go from a 2D format to 3D format as you start conceptualizing the flow of your space!

BHL is finishing a complete redo of our 1950s delapidated front yard to a modern, grass-less 🌵 🌴 filled front yard and it looks AMAZING! 👍👍👍 The 3D drawing Nathan created for us was exactly what we wanted and wish we hadn't paid $$$$$ to two other people for designs we hated so we could have spent more! Pricing was competitive with 2 other bids we received but Nathan's friendly personality and 3D rendering was the clear winner 🏆 for us. Throughout the process, the crew was on time, professional, friendly with us and courteous with neighbors. They even offered our neighbors some similar bark they had left over from another site - how cool is that!! A++ Update: Our yard looks fantastic!

Bri was very professional and the main reason we went with BHL. We were less anxious about designing the backyard because we were able to get a 3D rendering of the design. Be aware that BHL’s initial costs don’t include lights, plants, and custom features (but they do factor that all into your all in budget when designing your backyard). They are responsive and good at communicating. It is also important to know that they will try to help you get something done (like referring you someone who could do your fence), but in the end will do what’s on the contract. Granted they were super busy during the summer! Overall we had a positive experience and ended up with a beautiful backyard for our family thanks to Bri, Valdo, and Patrick.

I recently bought a house and needed the sprinkler system redone. Not only did Nathan, the owner, come up with a much more efficient set up, he used quality parts and took the time to explain everything he was using and doing. He went above and beyond any company I've ever dealt with. I will also be having him come out next year for all my landscaping. Here comes Bright Home to the rescue. Amy called to get me on the books for a free home visit estimate. Brandon Powers was my designer and from visit one I knew I was in good hands. He listened to me and came up with really smart and pretty modern design. Throughout the next few weeks he came by to drop off samples of rocks or pavers and sat down to make any changes I wanted. He even went tree shopping with me and talked me through the entire process. In the end it's a beautiful backyard that I am going to enjoy for years to come. Hugo and his crew were amazing!
